Alternative Learning Centre – Muslim Aid Knowledge Centre
Target Group:
Refugee, immigrant and undocumented children
Objective:
To establish an alternative educational institution that enables refugee children have access to basic education. Their status as refugees denies them the opportunity to acquire formal education. Hence, the centre was set up to help the kids by providing them chance of gaining basic education, leading to a better and competitive life.
Philosophy :
To set up an education centre that is able to develop the potential of individuals and produce individuals who are knowledgeable, responsible and contribute to the society, regardless of religion, race and nationality
Mission:
To provide curriculum and co-curriculum to enable students to master reading, writing, counting, and reasoning.
Vision:
To become a knowledge centre that can produce students who are able to master basic learning skills.
Subject on offer:
Malay language, English, Mathematics, Science, Islamic Studies, Art, Physical Education, Local Studies and Living Skills.
