Objectives

1. To be a facilitator platform to facilitate the public to channel assistance in various forms to the needy.
2. To increase the concern of the tertiary sector and members of the community in helping the underprivileged.
3. Provide a medium for corporate parties to fulfill Corporate Social Responsibility or “Corporate Social Responsibility”.
4. To open up opportunities for sponsoring staff to inculcate the community in Malaysia and foster a spirit of goodwill in themselves.

Sponsorship Packages

Contributions can be made through the following packages:
Basic Package (A): RM100 – Basic Food
Baby (B) RM80 – basic baby needs
Children (C) RM100 – basic needs for school children (Back2School)
Donation Package (D): Heartfelt donation
Seniors (E) RM80 – essential items for the elderly

RECIPIENT TARGET

Since its inception in 2020, the MAMA project has benefited almost 1,200 families in 18 locations namely in Cheras (Kuala Lumpur), Ampang (Selangor), Klang (Selangor), Tanjung Karang (Selangor), Kuala Gandah (Pahang), Kepong (Kuala Lumpur), Jelebu (Negeri Sembilan), Bukit Serok (Pahang), Felda Menerong (Pahang) and Tumpat (Kelantan). Recipients are selected based on their household income and most of them are in the B40 category. Distribution activities were carried out by the YKMAM team with the assistance of the local community comprising orphans, refugees, Orang Asli, People with Disabilities (OKU), single mothers and the underprivileged.

MAMA 4.0 2023

MAMA or Malaysian Aid by Muslim Aid this year is entering its 4th year of continuous project since its launch in August 2020 originally known as Merdeka Aid by Muslim Aid. This project is an effort by Muslim Aid to contribute to those who are experiencing a worrying economic impact due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In connection with the pandemic concerns, Muslim Aid came forward to continue this effort with the branding to MAMA 2.0 in 2021.

In 2022, MAMA continued to take a new approach by partnering with retail giant Mydin Holdings Bhd, hence the title of the new project MyMAMA.

This year the 4th edition, MAMA 4.0 was continued to ensure that the supply of aid to the needy is not cut off.
