FloodAid Pakistan 2022

Help rebuild life

Heavy rain inundating Pakistan since June 2022 has caused flash floods all along the Indus River, from the north of the country to the south.

The monster monsoon has destroyed entire villages and displaced millions of people. Rescuers are having difficulty removing thousands of stranded people from the affected areas of Pakistan that has become unreachable in many places.

The devastating floods have surged across Pakistan, killed thousands of people, brought down multistorey buildings, washing away bridges, homes and also crops. According to officials:

  • Killed more than 1,100 people and injured thousands more;
  • At least 150,000 people requiring urgent humanitarian assistance;
  • Damaged 26,000 houses;
  • Destroyed more than 6,000 bridges;
  • Tens of thousands hectares of agricultural lands and crops were flooded, and a large number of livestock also perished.

The situation has worsened and posed severe threat to the lives of millions of people.

Muslim Aid has launched an emergency response to help those who are effected by the flood. Our team is on the grounds now delivering emergency relief and assistance.

We need your generous donations to help the survivors rebuild their lives.
