Charity Enhances Sustenance, Full of Baraqah
“It’s great to give alms during the month of Ramadan, “The parable of the people who spend their wealth in the way of God is similar to a single seed that grows seven grains, in each one comes a hundred grains. Allah multiply (reward) for whom He wills. and Allah is All-Glorious, All-Knowing.” Al Baqarah: 261
RAMADHAN HAS COME… A BLESSING MONTH IN WHICH ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA TRULY HONOURS THOSE WHO GIVE ALMS AND PROMISES THEM VARIOUS PRIORITIES AND REWARDS AS ALL GOODWILL ACCUMULATES IN THIS ONE PRACTICE.
Muslim Aid Malaysia encourage individuals and corporates to join us welcoming the month of Ramadan by giving assistance either in cash or in-kind through the Fast2Feed program. Such a piety act is to ease the burden of the less fortunate such as orphans, poor families, disabled people, old folks, single mothers and refugees.
Since 2008, Muslim Aid has served more than 39,000 recipients in need locally and in neighboring countries such as Thailand and Cambodia. The Fast2Feed program is entering its 15th year.
We are still collecting funds for this program and once target is achieved, the Ramadan program benefiting recipients in selected locations will be carried out.
For this Ramadan, we expect that many more will get to enjoy the Iftar (breaking of fast), Eid money and clothes, as well as basic food supply.
Say, “Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] – He will compensate for it; and He is the best of providers.” (Saba ‘[34:39])
